My Best Bargain Yet!

Would you believe me if I told you my dress cost less than these shoes??!  Well, that's a fact, believe it or not!

Thanks to Francesca's and their amazing FLASH SALE, I scored this dress for only $29.99! I couldn't wait to receive it in the mail, and it came just in time to wear to a friend's wedding.  It was an outdoor wedding, but the dress was a little heavier so I wasn't cold like I anticipated - oh, listen to me, "Cold" in August?? I know it's 93 degrees this weekend, but a few weekends ago, it was down in the 50's.... are other states feeling these temps??

Moving on.....

I loved the fit and flare of this dress! Not to mention, it was easy to dance in - I was the one who requested B.Spears ten times, you're welcome, wedding guests!  Because of the floral texture and the beaded waistband, jewelry wasn't really an option with this.  Sometimes, less is more and that was the case for this dress.  If I wore silver jewelry, I would have paired it he dress with some silver bracelets for some extra Bling!  But these BCBG suede dorry heels took care of that extra Bling for me!  Talk about "W-O-W" Best part is they were soft suede so I was actually comfortable all night for my first time wearing them.

DId I mention the best part?! Francesca's is having 30% off right now on dresses.  Score this Jun and Ivy Embellished Floral dress for 30% off (Regular $118).  I have to say that buying this dress during their flash sale was one of my best bargains yet..... Ain't that the truth!!!

Southern Charm Meets Vintage Elegance

I was recently in Nashville for a wedding.  Not just any wedding – a wedding that most girl’s dream about! Picture something like an Instagram inspired, Pinterest perfect, wedding bell bliss! I mean it, get ready to take notes!!

Friday night, my boyfriend and I attended the Rehearsal dinner.  From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with unlimited Tennessee Tea’s!  Later on, the dinner they served was your typical Southern feast – fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, corn pudding...... Ahh, I think I gained 10 pounds just thinking about it!

Saturday night were the nuptials., but let's fast forward to the reception!  The reception took place at this beautiful plantation house - In that moment, I knew what it was like to pretend to be Melanie Carmichael (Only in Nashville, not Alabama).  Okay, just a few of my favorite things from the night: 1. a stack of antique luggage and decorations where we found our names and setting arrangements. 2. A romantic scene off to the corner with a blanket, pillow, flowers, wine, a Just Married sign and a chalkboard that said, Reserved for Shannon and Scott.  3.  A basket filled with blankets and sign that read Borrow A Blanket And Snuggle (Clearly I am a rebel since I kept mine...) 4. An abandoned black barn with chandeliers and a wall of mirrors.  5. A shelf filled with old family wedding pictures (must file this idea away and use at my wedding) and 6. The music!
